The Hino JO5E Series Engine produces 210 HP and 440 lb.-ft. torque – engineered for maximize performance and fuel economy. The Aisin A465, 6 speed automatic transmission is standard on every COE. Aisin is a leader in the industry with over 40 years experience manufacturing durable, quality transmissions. Diesel-Electric Hybrid System Power Control Unit. Features the world’s first Hybrid Adaptive Control System that continuously communicates with the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to evaluate driving and road conditions to optimize the truck’s fuel economy and performance.
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Emissions Reduction System. Proprietary technology that lowers NOx emissions by more than 80%. Balance™ Hybrid Electric drive system for Ford’s E450

AZD has developed the Balance™ Hybrid Electric drive system for Ford’s E450 Cutaway and Strip Chassis trucks. The Balance™ Hybrid Electric drive system manages the conventional 5.4 litre Triton gasoline engine and the 5-speed automatic TorqShift transmission to produce a cleaner, more fuel efficient vehicle for your business needs. The hybrid features electric-launch assist, engine-off at idle and regenerative braking which combine to improve fuel economy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Transit Connect Electric

To create the Transit Connect Electric, Azure integrates its proven Force Drive™ electric powertrain into the award-winning Ford Transit Connect. Utilizing an advanced lithium-ion battery from Johnson Controls-Saft, the Transit Connect Electric can achieve a range of 50-80 miles depending on auxiliary usage and drive cycle, and has a top speed of 75 mph. The battery is rechargeable using either a 240-volt or standard 120-volt outlet.
